EPIC is a fast-growing Construction Management firm specializing in the construction management/project management of healthcare projects for clients so they can focus on the things only they can do, such as licensing, patient experience, employee satisfaction, and so forth. We are searching for Construction Managers and Project Managers with significant healthcare-related experience and an entrepreneurial spirit! This experience can be from either a construction management role or as a project manager with a general contractor that does healthcare projects.

If hired as a Senior Project Manager,  our expectation is that you can lead a team of Project Managers/Project Engineers and can maintain and grow client relationships. Senior Project Managers are also eligible for significant bonuses for themselves and their teams.

Senior Project Manager

  1. Qualifications
    • Five or more years of experience managing small and medium-sized construction projects in a healthcare setting
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook, Teams)
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to communicate and present effectively to all levels
    • Entrepreneurial spirit that allows you to nourish and manage a team
  2. Responsibilities
    • Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning and execution of projects as assigned by Senior Leadership Team
    • Projects may involve a diverse set of components with cross-functional departments
    • Projects cover a variety of operational initiatives including technology integration, clinical integration, vendor assessment/selection, new service line implementations, government and regulatory compliances, process improvements, and onboarding
    • Senior Project Manager will partner with front-line staff, managers, and senior level management to develop, deploy, and engrain quality improvement strategies throughout the organization that align with organizational goals
    • Senior Project Manager must be able to adapt quickly when managing small to medium-sized projects and be able to utilize best practice project management techniques to plan, organize, monitor, risk mitigate and close assigned departmental and multi-departmental projects
    • They will be assigned multiple projects, manage multi-functional teams, and maintain excellent communication with management
    • The Senior Project Manager will complete assignments with supervision from Senior Leadership Team to

 

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Ensure successful completion of Project Plans, Scope Documents, Budgets, Project Task Schedules, Requirements, Training Materials, Transition Documentation, Stakeholder Communications, and Support Plans
  • Predict resources needed to attain project objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Successfully manage assigned projects through the entire project management life cycle, from initiation through execution and closure
  • Concurrently manage one to three project managers and 20 or more concurrently running projects
  • Proactively perform front-line tactical activities as needed to help keep assigned projects on track for successful completion
  • Actively monitor and report on projects’ progress against baselined project plans using established organizational templates, tools and processes
  • Deliver detailed project plans, including time, resource and cost estimates, and defined objectives
  • Take ownership of work plan to ensure project objectives are met via task sequencing and assignment of appropriate resources from applicable departments
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Identify risks and issues
  • Conduct follow-up on late and lagging projects and tasks
  • Develop strategies and action plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks
  • Escalate risks and issues as appropriate for timely resolution and mitigation
  • Build and maintain productive intradepartmental relationships with various management levels in all departments to enable effective and accurate project completion
  • Facilitate communication between internal and external clients
  • Develop presentations and project management deliverables to support project priorities and facilitate project decisions
  • Exercise critical thinking, professional judgment, and diplomacy  solve problems, and achieve project goals
  • Proactively recommend and propose solutions for business and project team success
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct
  • Effectively document workflows and strategic use of tools and reports

 

Project Manager
